THE JIM REYNOLDS JUNIOR GOLF CAMP IS NCAA COMPLIANT SPECIAL GUESTS: KENNY KNOX- 3-Time PGA Tour Champion Others to-be-announced
SPIRITUAL LEADER: TONY EUBANKS (10th YEAR)
This camp will focus primarily on fun and physical and mental fundamentals. The junior golfers will be divided into four groups based on their ability. This will allow our PGA professionals to direct their instruction in the proper manner. Beginners will focus on grip, stance and the basic swing where the better golfer will be instructed on more advanced fundamentals.
Junior golfers will get three hours of expert instruction each morning followed by a professional clinic. After lunch the campers will play 18 holes of competitive golf. The junior golfers will walk the golf course, but a staff person, with a golf car, will be assigned to each group.
The campers will stay in cottages bordering the golf course. Each cottage has a large kitchen with many different sleeping arrangements.
Breakfast and dinner will be at the Reynolds Plantation clubhouse. Lunch will be at the golf course.
Every eight to ten campers will be assigned to a Huddle Leader. The Huddle Leader will be responsible for the campers getting to functions on time and their spiritual development.
HOUSING:
|
Campers will stay in individually owned cottages. Each cottage is impeccable and has all amenities. Each cottage sleeps 6 - 8 campers and a staff person. Be sure and bring snacks and drinks for free-time and at night.
Instruction- Each full day will consist of 3 hours of instruction. Campers will be divided into four groups of ten and rotate every 45 minutes. A PGA Head Pro will be at all four stations along with other PGA teaching professionals. The four stations are tee-shot, irons, short game and putting. . . Golf club carry-distances are one of the most important aspects of scoring well. Knowing how far your ball carry's in the air, as compared to the total distance, is imperative with today's golf course design.
The TrackMan is the gold standard. Each camper will have time to use the TrackMan and anayze his/her carry-distances... and more.
